Just sit right down and you'll hear a tale,
a tale of a fateful trip.
That started with a sperm and egg,
and then the egg did split.

The mom was concerned about what this meant,
the father not too sure.
The labor lasted longer than a three hour tour,
a three hour tour.

The household started getting rough,
every night we turned and tossed.
If not for the courage of the mom and dad,
all sanity would be lost.  All sanity would be lost.

Let’s all set out to learn some more on the shore of a resorted isle,
With parents, some others too, a quiet room---for the night,
you can get some sleep, a glass of wine or daiquiri,
here on Solomon's Isle.

Now this is the tale of the multiples,
they're here for a long, long time,
you'll have to make the best of things,
it's an uphill climb.
